Jim Dearden
Jim has been in the insurance industry since he was hired by MetLife in 2003. He has been involved in the community, dedicating time to coaching kids in soccer, softball, and the field events for the track team at Winnacunnet High School. He was the chairperson of the Hampton Academy Renovation Committee. He is a founding member of the BNI Atlantic Business Connections chapter, a networking group in the seacoast of NH. Jim is on the board of directors of The Make-A-Wish Foundation and was elected in the town of Hampton as a Trustee of the Trust Funds. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Sonja, and daughter, Kendall. Jim and Sonja take their scooters to the beach or Sunday brunch on summer weekends. In the winter, the Deardens often ski at their family house on Songo Pond near Sunday River.
Amy Howard
After over 15 years in business development, Amy decided to take her client-service expertise and launch a property and casualty insurance career in 2020. While solving the needs of clients and customers is something she’s always done, her favorite part of the insurance industry is getting the opportunity to know her clients on a more personal level and working with them through the changes in their lives – buying a new home, a child getting their license, expanding their business, etc.
Outside of work, Amy is a group fitness instructor and has been teaching a variety of class formats for more years than she’s willing to say! She’s also on the Board of Directors for My Breast Cancer Support, a local non-profit that provides financial and emotional support for breast cancer patients on the Seacoast of NH and Southern Maine.
Amy and her husband Brian love taking the top off the Jeep, exploring the NH Seacoast and Lakes Region, and entertaining friends and family for backyard movie nights and pool parties.
